United States Christian Commission Diary, 1865 February 26-April 9.

Diary detailing Pastor Albright's activities as delegate for the United States Christian Commission in Chatanooga, Tennessee during the Civil War. This diary was kept in a book of instructions for U.S.C.C. delegates. Pastor Albright tells of his experiences giving aid and comfort to soldiers, preaching and evangelizing, perfoming funerals, distributing writing paper and other supplies. The preface to the diary contains "Instructions to Delegates of the U.S. Christian Commission" as well as a directory listing delegate contacts throughout the United States.
